Roxanne, There are brochures available from NSH is you can get ahold of them
right away. www.nsh.org.  They also have posters and a video. I think ASCP
(www.ascp.org) has some too. 

Otherwise, the best thing would be a microtome and have someone cutting
sections - or at least a video of that process. You would be surprized how
interested people become when there is real hands-on work being done. Many
are not interested in sitting in front of a computer all day!

Do your best to have a microscope with some slides to look at. Any chance of
a video microscope? Have lots of slides of special stains, and a book to
show what variouis things are. Any kind of equipment attracts people.

do you have any enlargements of micrographs to show people. Color photos of
special stains are good ones to attract people.
