         I use a kit that comes from Carolina Biological Supply 
(800-334-5551 or www.carolina.com) called Caroplastic.  It comes with a 
step-by-step guide for embedding flowers, whole organs, rattlesnakes, 
whatever.  It is a reasonably priced polyester resin that you add a 
catalyst to and in about 30 minutes you have a beautiful crystal clear 
mount depending on the size and shape of your embedding mold.
