Bones and Spurr's
I'm wondering if there's anyone with experience in removing mostly
polymerized Spurr's (an epoxy resin) from bone specimens. I've been
working on a project and found that a few of my specimens haven't cured
properly; they're nice and hard on the outside but gooey when you begin
taking slices. With MMA I know you can remove MMA and re-embed and
intuitively, it seems like the same process should work. I'd appreciate any
feedback.
