Anti-podoplanin / VEGFR-3 immunohistochemistry

From:Alex Knisely

Hello all --

Distinguishing lymphatic from venous vessels is SUPPOSEDLY eased by
immunostaining for podoplanin - VEGFR-3 (vascular endothelial growth factor
receptor, type 3): These two antigens are SUPPOSEDLY specific, or
relatively so, for lymphatic vessels.

But does any supplier have antibodies that tag these antigens in
formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) materials?

If someone knows of such a supplier, or has successfully tweaked incubation
conditions and the like to induce some antibody not designated for FFPE use
nonetheless to work in FFPE sections, I hope that (s)he will get in touch.

Many thanks in advance for any information that Histonetters can supply!

Alex K
