trimming GMA blocks

From:Cathy Mayton <Cathy@wasatchhisto.com>

I trim my GMA blocks with a band saw which was purchased at the hardware
store. The blades do not create the fine dust as you described. Fingers
are kept in tact by using a block of MMA (wood works as well) to push the
GMA through. I embed in peel-a-way molds and clamp right onto the block,
so I trim my blocks on the band saw into what looks like a "T". This saves
time and my tungsten carbide knives.

Koch is the name of the butcher supply house I believe Gayle was talking
about. I buy my nitrile gloves from them because they are less expensive
than the lab warehouses are.

Hope this helps.
Cathy
