Dear Histonetters,
   Two things:
       First: Thank you to everyone for all of your ideas on trimming done
my GMA blocks before I section them on the microtome. Someone ask what
microtome I use, it is a Reichert-Jung 2040 manual microtome. As I didn't
say the razor blade flipped out when I hit a harder than usual spot getting
the tips of my two fingers. For starters, I am getting the razor blade
holder and going from there. I am still looking at all the other
suggestions. Thank you though from a person who has never done EM and I am
beginning to believe plastics is very much like preparing for EM. 
       Second: 
          I don't think JHoffpa464 is quite as bad as below. I sent him a
couple e-mail from home and he didn't delete all of them the ones he open
give me hope that he may actually be a nice person. I think he may just be
lonely and need some kindness instead of harshness. maybe some of us could
talk to him when we are on-line at home on AOL and see if he isn't quite so
bad.  I wish we could make a friendly and helpful histonetter of JHoffpa464.

I believe jhoffpa464 could quite possibly be a spineless, bottomfeeding,
intellectual-wanna-be who unfortunately has so little work to occupy his
time that he feels the need to log onto a forum that is unrelated to his
supposed profession to try to stir up a bee's nest for his own cheap thrill.
Like a bothersome insect, he should be stepped on & then utterly ignored.
