Position :  Histology Technician

Qualifications:  BS in Biology, Chemistry or related work experience in the
field

Pathology Associates - A Charles River Company located in Jefferson,
Arkansas at the National Center for Toxicological Research is looking for
technical staff person(s) with recent laboratory experience and a strong
background in histology and necropsy.  The applicant should have the minimum
of a 2 years previous experience in a histology laboratory or be certified
as HT or HTL.  Qualified experience may be substituted for all or part of
the educational requirement. Work assignments will include general
laboratory responsibilities along with necropsy of rodents, trimming of
tissues from laboratory animals, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining
and coverslipping/labeling of slides.  Some special staining procedures may
be required in the processing of tissue specimens.  The position will be
under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor.
