Biological Stain Commission Workshops

The Biological Stain Commission will again present NSH CEu approved
workshops at the annual meeting, to be held at The Winfrey Hotel, 1000
Riverside Galleria, Birmingham, Alabama, June 9, 2001.  The hotel phone

The two workshops this year will address topics of great interest to
those considering taking the immunohistochemistry certification exam.  

"Control Blocks and Tissues for Histology and Immunology"  Presented by
Peggy A. Wenk.  Saturday morning, June 9, 8:00 AM.

"The effects of Fixation in Antigen Retrieval on Immunohistochemical
Staining of Paraffin Sections"  Presented by Dr. Russell Myers.  Saturday
afternoon, June 9, 1:00 PM.

There is no charge for attending these workshops.  Plese let us know if
you will attend, to insure we provide adequate seating.  You may notify

The Biological Stain Commission meeting will be held Friday, June 8,
beginning at 8:30 AM.  The meeting this year will feature a number of
talks that review specific areas of dye and stain development and use.
