Re: Disposing of Towels?

From:Amos Brooks <amosbrooks@home.com>

Hi,
What's this world coming to when something is no longer hazardous if it
is expensive. I really think many management, and administrative types go
too far in their penny pinching.
Personally, I couldn't deal with the thought that someone could get sick
because I wanted to look good when presenting a budget. How do they sleep at
night.
sorry 'bout the rant (again),
Amos Brooks

Our hospital is the same way- since they pay biohazard waste disposal by the
pound they do everything they can to cut down on biohazard waste. About the
only thing other than sharps that is considered a biohazard in our lab is
the fresh shavings in the cryostat.
