Supervisor in our Microscope Slide Lab

This postion is as follows:

Reports to Biology Production Manager. 
Responsible for the operation of the microscope slide department and the
management of the microscope slide product line.  
Responsible for the timely production of microscope slides, while
maintaining the quality that Ward's customers have come to expect.  
Needs to be familiar with microtechniques, staining techniques and have
an in depth knowledge of biology to insure proper identification of
material.  
Must be able to motivate, lead and direct a staff of about 20 people.
Responsible for expediting production and working with purchasing to
find alternative sources if needed.  
Needs to be skillful in written and verbal communication.
Responsible of maintenance and customer support of microscope slide
product line.  
Prefer a Masters Degree or equivalent experience.
Should be experienced with Computers and understand MS Word, Excel,
Internet
Explorer. 
Needs to be able to learn Ward's own proprietary software that allows
user to understand customer needs and status of slide production.  
Prefer experience in supervising people in a lab setting.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
