The Biological Stain Commission will again present NSH CEU approved
workshops at the Annual meeting, to be held at The Winfrey Hotel, 1000
Riverchase Galleria, Birmingham, Alabama.  The hotel phone number is
(800) 996-3739.   The two workshops this year will address topics that
will be of great interest to those considering taking the
immunohistochemistry certification exam.  The Biological Stain Commission
meeting will be held on Friday, June 8.  This meeting will begin at 8:30

Workshops will be presented Saturday, June 9.
The morning workshop will be presented by Peggy A. Wenk.  The topic is
"Control Blocks and Tissues for Histology and Immunology".  The workshop
will begin at 8:00 AM.

The afternoon workshop will be presented By Dr. Russell Myers.  The topic
is "The effects of Fixataion in Antigen Retrieval on Immunohistochemical
Staining of Paraffin Sections".  This workshop will begin at 1:00 PM.

There is no charge for attendance at these workshops.  Please let us know
if you will attend, to insure we provide adequate seating.  You may
