I am wondering how many slides this generates when you say 250 or more
blocks per day.  If you cut an average of one slide per block, I don't
think this is excessive as I often cut 300 or more slides in a day.  Most
days I am in the lab alone so do this  and the other things running a lab
requires.   I do have a part-time person who works 20 hours a week, so that
helps but on some days I have to do that many slides as the people we do
work for needs them quickly.
