Hi Kathy,
Not sure whether you are talking about large pieces of cadaver heart or
small heart transplant biopsies? For the small biopsies we use a 2.5 hr
biopsy processing run which does not harden the tissue and make it brittle
as an overnight run would.

Subject: heart tissue processing
Dear learned ones,
I have been having less than perfect heart tissue blocks, I ALWAYS have to
soak. Have done several processing protocols several different animals. Any
thoughts?
TIA,
Kathy
