     Many thanks for the (as ever) concise, detailed discussion of
fixatives for nucleic acids in your recent Histonet post.   It was only too
short in the sense of leaving us wanting more.  Are you or other
subscribers aware of any attempts to incorporate into fixatives reagents
such as trichloracetic acid, used to precipitate DNA in biochemical
preparations?  Or RNAse inhibitors?
