Hi,
We put our slides in a conventional oven for 10 minutes. Then with the microwave pre-heated to 225 centigrade we microwave them for 3 minutes for the first 3 racks of 20 slides and one minute for each
additional 3 racks (e.g.. 5 racks for 4 minutes). We never microwave any IHCs to prevent the possibility of problems there. There wasn't much difference on bone marrow H&Es between microwave and
conventional ovens.
