Hi, Carrie

Davidson's Fixative is used in our lab by a guy who works on fish.  I don't
know why this fixative is preferred over 10% BNF... maybe because is
softens the bones of the fish somewhat [???]  Below is our formulation:

95% Ethanol.................330 mL
Conc formaldehyde (37%).....220 mL
DI water....................335 mL
conc glacial acetic acid....115 mL
