John - our lab uses a singles generic protocol for each 
type of labeling system that we have in use.  Beyond 
that we have developed a table displaying all the 
information on pretreatment for each antibody. (i.e. 
dilution, pretreatment, clone #, vendor and so on.)  
Have not had any deficiencies so far.  Giving credit to 
assistance from a great workshop by Sheron C. Lear from 
the University of Louisville at NSH in 97.  This really 
helped us get organized in a general manner.
