I rinse the Warthin-Starry in hot water to remove the developer (has gelatin
in it) then rinse in cold water. I suppose it depends on the stain.

Subject: special stains
Does anyone have the reasoning behind people washing the slides in hot
water after a special stain? I have always been taught to use cold water
washes.
