we have nearly quit using xylene, but our competing hospital across town
collects their waste xylene and adds it to the heating fuel for the
hospital. 5 gallons is a drop in the bucket for a large fuel supply, and so
far EPA has not had a problem with this.

Hi histonetters,
I am sure this has been discussed here before, but here it goes. How is
everyone disposing of their waste xylene? We throw away approximately 5
gallons a month. Do you have to have a special company that can dispose
of hazardous waste? Or can a medical waste company dispose of your
hazardous waste also? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
