Weused to spray cool our paraffin blocks at one time but, apart from the
expense, the face of the block used to crack up resulting in distortion of the
section when floating out on the water bath.
What we actually do is take a batch of cases, trim the whole lot and placing
each one on an ice block. The ice blocks can take about thirty paraffin blocks
at a time. Once trimming is over, the first ones trimmed would have cooled
enough for cutting.
This also saves on the blades.

Good luck
