Hi histonetters (especially Zenobia downunder),

I've got a problem with our MSA (muscle specfic antigen). It is producing a
lot of background. The antibody is has been frozen in aliquots , so I don't
think that the problem can be contamination. I have followed the spec sheet
recommendations of using Tris EDTA buffer, but all to no avail. I have
always understood that freezing an antibody prolongs its shelf life
(indefinately according to some) but could degradation account for the
background? Any insights?

Many thanks
Louise taylor
