Hi HistoNetters!
Jenn Johnson asked about methods to speed up decalcification. In the
Boon & Kok Microwave Cookbook for Microscopists, there are methods for
microwave decalcification using nitric or formic acid. More recently,
we have developed, with Sigma, a protocol for microwave decalcification
using DeltaCal or RDO. If any of you would like copies of these
protocols, please contact Sonja White (Swhite@ebsciences.com
<mailto:Swhite@ebsciences.com> ) in my office.
Happy Friday!
