Hi,
I used formalex without a PurgeMaster and it worked ok. If you store
it a while you can see it brakes the formaldehyde down..can't remember
how long is recommended.
Our safety people here at the U of WA
recommended what they say is a better product called Neutra-Guard. You
put the powder in the formalin. My problem is that the Neutra-Guard is so
irritating that I react almost as badly as I do to formalin. I might use
it for large batches of formalin, but not for clean-up..it is terrible on
throats, eyes, sinuses.
