The Histoscreen cassette can be safely used for any small bx's. The
problem we had was that the paraffin would not flow freely though the
screen because the weave of the screen was so small. Of course this is
needed for the safety of the small bx's like colon, liver, and bronch's.
But the trade off wasn't worth the air bubbles that were the problem
during embedding.
