DAPI stands for 4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole dihydrochloride. It is a
nucleophillic fluorescent dye that attaches at the AT-rich site in the minor
groove of DNA. Excite at 325 nm and demonstrates bright fluoscence. Hope

stated, tissue coverslipped with a
