Would anyone care to comment on their preference of a paraffin wax for
infiltration and embedidng decalc bone specimens, especially EM-400 and
Formula R (both from Surgipath) and TissuePrep 2 (Fisher).
We have always used TissuePrep2 with no problems, but now have some
researchers who are insisting that Surgipath's waxes are better. I must
add that they have no experience of histological technology and wouldn't
know Formula R from whatever women use on their legs.
Thanks
