Let me quess....Are you or about to be an HCA facility?   About three years ago, we were going to merge with HCA and were told we HAD to switch to Meditech.  They presented us numerous demos and we were shocked at this archaic product which was so much worse that the LIS system we use.   (Evidently, the version of Meditech that HCA requires it's facilities use was far less superior that Meditech's latest and greatest versions.)   To step backwards was pretty hard to swallow, but we were told we had no choice in the matter.   
Happily, we never merged with HCA.  :-)

Anyway, I would suggest you contact techs at HCA facilities.
