The Texas Society for Histotechnology's annual Convention is being held in
Galveston, Texas, April 22 through 26.
The programs for the meeting are at the printers, and if all goes as
planned, will be mailed out at the end of this week.

The Convention is being held at the San Luis Resort and Conference Center.
Room rates are $115 for a single or double, $120 triple or quadruple.

We'll "Catch The Wave" to education with a program which features 19
workshops and 4 symposia. The faculty of 26 are leaders, in their respective
areas of expertise. This year's diverse program guarantees presentations
that will prove to be interesting and informative to all levels of
Histotechnology professional.
The program committee has introduced a new concept by scheduling "mini"
workshops into this year's program. The "mini's" are longer than scheduled
symposia and shorter than workshops. They are grouped together to insure
that participants received appropriate CEU's.

The response from exhibitors has been tremendous and we look forward to
receiving first hand information on new products and instrumentation.

We'll "Catch The Wave" to fun with a golf tournament, President's reception,

Awards Banquet (honoring leaders in the field and TSH retirees), and a
brunch with our vendors. The silent auction provides an opportunity to bid
on unique items from around the world.
