Our hospital demo'd both the glass coverslipping and the tape with just
xylene. It works great of histology, however with the tape method for paps,
we had to redo about 30% within a week and the cytotech said it made them
dizzy to screen them. With the glass coverslips we only had to redo about
15% but is hard to adjust the mounting medium flow to the right amout. We
decided to continue coverslipping them by hand the cytology's and purchased
the tape method.
