We have routinely done IPX staining for ER1D5, Progesterone receptor
and Ki67 on paraffin sections of breast core biopsies fixed in FAA
(formalin, alcohol, acetic acid) and have found no appreciable
difference in staining from that obtained in tissues fixed in
formalin.
