Thank You Keith for the information.  I went onto DPC's web page and the
stainer does indeed do 100 stains and is fully open.  The stainer uses the
Shandon rack system, does anyone know anything about them through experience.
I understand that they use only 100ul of reagent.  Does anyone notice any
difference between them and the other stainers that use up to four times as
much.  I know the Techmate uses 200ul but this is one half.  If anyone can
forward me some comments on the Shandon racks and the staining quality that
would be great.
