Andrea:
I find that the type of tissue as well as the type of paraffin makes a big
difference in the temperature I use. The melting point of the paraffin
should be considered when making this decision.

Subject: The perfect floating out temperature ... ??
What is the optimal floating bath temperature to use when paraffin
sectioning a block of tumor tissue embedded in standard paraffin?
Thanks for any info you can provide!
