We use Histogel when processing our non-gyn cytologies. After centrifuging
the specimen and making the slides, we use the Histogel to make a block out
of the extra stuff. The cells become suspended in the gel, which (when
solidified) can be processed and cut with all of your other tissue blocks.
Call them and see if they will send you a sample.
