Cathy,
We routinely run adenovirus on formalin-fixed paraffin sections.
Seralab cat# MAS173 mouse monoclonal(clone H-60) at 1:10,000 for 1 hour
at R.T. following HIER in citrate buffer pH6.0 10 min at 96C. detection
is with LSAB. Works like a charm!
