As a result of an increased incidence of RSI type problems in the
laboratory, we are now considering the use of automated microtomes
for our routine work . We currently use an automated microtome for
resin work, but, our experience of such equipment for paraffin work
is very limited. For those of you out there that use this type of
equipment routinely, I would appreciate your comments on the
problems and benefits associated with automated microtomes, and also
your opinions and recommendations on the best make and models.

Thanks in advance for your help.
