H-netters,
I am interested in detecting apoptosis in retrospective samples and I just
found out that Promega has an antibody that specifically recognizes the p85
fragment of PARP (that occurs as a result of caspase cleavage during
apoptosis). This antibody apparently does not recognize the intact
(uncleaved) PARP protein in normal healthy cells. Has anyone tried this
antibody (staining conditions would be nice) or can anyone offer an
alternative IHC approach to detect apoptosis?
ThankX in advance for your input.
