I enjoy the humor and enjoy laughing at myself whenever possible.  (Which seems to be a great deal, not sure what that means.)
I think we all sometimes wear our feeling a little too close to our cuffs.  I know when I did I was always hurt about something.  
Maybe I am now so old it doesn't matter anymore.
Gee, now I'm depressed ;(.
