Histogel All the way!
Purchase Histogel from Thermo Scientific (formerly Richard Allan)
There was a flurry of histogel activity on histonet a few months ago, you should be able to find info in the archives.
Oh,and it is pink...
Let me know if you need more specific info.
Have a great rest of the week.

Subject: [Histonet] What product used for orientating tissue prior toembedding?

Does anyone know what material or product is used to orientate tissues (skin and such) prior to processing? It's like a gel or something and it can be embedded with the tissues and it cuts nicely. Does anyone know what that stuff is? I think I have seen it in a pink color or probably blue...
Thanks all,
