Subject: [Histonet] Alizarin Red S for gunshot residue

I've been asked about doing an alizarin red s stain for gunshot residue
by the folks at our local coroner's office. I find many references to
it but no specific procedure for it. Does anyone do this or know of a
procedure for it? Would something like Dahl's work for gunshot?
Appreciate any help. Thanks.
