From your e-mail I am not sure if you are you waging a battle for or 
against the wearing of gloves during embedding and cutting?

In all the labs I have ever worked in ( and that's quite a few), nobody 
has ever worn gloves for embedding/cutting. I don't see what the benefit 
would be.
