Xylene substitutes

From:dana

Dear all

Does anyone out there use Sakura, shandon or any xylene substitute? Do you
find these ok when it comes to quality of processing and staining
particularly immuno? I suspect that there is an atmospheric (humidity)
problem when using these. On wet or humid days the processing does not seem
to be fine and water seem to condense in the processing chamber. Did someone
find the same?Kindly reply directly to me at dana@mail.saimr.wits.ac.za

Dan
