We currently have 2 Ventana Es instruments, Nexes IHC and Special Stain module, and a Benchmark. We have pretty much followed the spec sheets for the protocols and done some trial and error things as well. Our pathologists have been great with their feedback and that has helped as well!! Ventana is great with their technical support staff. They sent us a tech specialist named Tony Morris who helped to develop our Benchmark protocols. They would be more than willing to help you over the phone or-if our situation is typical--they will send a specialist to you at no additional costs!! And I am NOT a former Ventana employee--just a very satisfied customer!!!
   It was mentioned that why would you choose Ventana over Dako---Quality, consistancy, reliability of the testing--you name it. If I was depending on this specialized testing for my diagnosis I would want the best!! Cut corners elsewhere!!
