RE: CLO test

From:Janice A Mahoney

It is a test for helicobacter. Usually it is performed at the GI clinic.
If it is positive there is no need for a stain to be done on the gi bx
tissue block.

Subject: CLO test

Hi everyone,
I have a doctor who wants me to look into clo
testing. I was told it is a general lab test. What is
it testing for and can a histology department do it?
Thanks in advance
