I  have a student here that's been working on her HTL practical.  She is
having difficulty with the Bielschowsky, she first tried the protocol in
Freidas book that did not require any heat, she got very little staining.
She then tried the Microwave modification method that is also in Freidas
book, twice.  Once following the procedure to the tee and the second time
decreasing the time in the sliver.  Both times the results were too dark.
There is good staining of the nerve fibers, no precipitate, but the staining
is too dark.  Does anyone out there have any suggestions.
