After much effort at trying a lot of things, I finally took some Superfrost
+ slides, dipped them directly into a container of nothing but "Stay on"
adhesive that is mostly used in waterbaths, let the slides air dry or bake.
 When it comes to mounting the nail we simply cut and mount tissue onto one
of these premade coated slides.  The whole slide will stain somewhat pink
too along with the nail....but the nail stays on in most cases.  Our doc's
said they don't care about a "pink" slide as long as the tissue stains and
stays on the slide.  It has really cut down on recutting and restaining.
