RE: immunohistochemistry books/

From:Rena Fail

Donna,
In order to simplify filing we number our control blocks and
slides, right now we have 56 control numbers. On our AB dilution control
guide each AB has the number of the control slide which should be used.
Tonsil is control block/slide number 20 and is used for a number of
different markers. So Kappa, CD20, CD3, etc. all have 20 in the control
column. We keep a separate QC sheet to note the pathologist approving
the control and the date.

Subject: immunohistochemistry books/

I was just wondering. I know that this has been addressed before, but
I
would appreciate information on books for immuno. I have dabbs
diagnostic
immunohistochemistry and Atlas of Diagnostic Immunohistopathology. I
would
like a book, if possible covering how controls are obtained, cataloged
and
q.a.

I thank you for your help in advance!
