Not rinsing adequately could be a contributing factor.

Subject: brown ring on ihc slides

We are finding that we are getting a brown background on the surface of
our immunohistochemistry slides.  It does not interfere with the section
at all nor is it visible under the microscope.  Does anyone have any
idea what causes this?
