I hope you folks will forgive a very naive question: I have years of experience sectioning fresh frozen tissue in a cryostat-minotome, but suddenly need to section paraffin-embedded (formalin-fixed) material for the first time. Can I do this in my cryostat? Does the temperature matter? How would I affix the block to the chuck, just melt it on? Thank you very kindly for any advice! Susan Bachus
