Chroma dyes are excellent.

Also, recently on the Histonet, someone was asking about expiration dates on dyes. I have examined  German dyes up to 100 years old and most of them worked just fine, the problem, if any, was the use of synonyms in labelling.Of course to work after long periods the dyes must have been kept cool and dry. I can give anyone a reference if they are really interested
