For those of us who knew Ken:

DENNIS - Kenneth A. Andrews Sr., 64, died March 9, 2002 at his home.
 He was the husband of A. Jean (Martino) Andrews.
 Mr. Andrews was born, raised and educated in North Adams, where he
graduated from Drury High School. He graduated from Carnegie Institute of
Technology in Boston and attended Northeastern University.
 He was employed as histology supervisor in the pathology department at Cape
Cod Hospital in Hyannis until his retirement.
 Mr. Andrews was a communicant and usher at St. Pius X Church in South
Yarmouth. He was a member of the Massachusetts State Society of
Histotechnology, and also a member of the Dennis Pines and Dennis Highlands
golf clubs.
 Surviving besides his wife are a son, Kenneth A. Andrews Jr. of Marlboro;
two daughters, Karen E. Dynes of Greenwood, Ind., and Kelly J. DeSimone of
Dennis; three brothers, Donald Andrews of North Adams, Anthony Andrews of
Bennington, Vt., and William Andrews of Florida, Mass.; three sisters, Joan
Dumas of North Adams, Antoinette Beauchamp of Pittsfield, and Carol Daniels
of Groton, Conn.; and three grandchildren.
His funeral was Wednesday at St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue, South
Yarmouth. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Dennis.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod,
270 Communication Way, Hyannis, MA 02601.

I have just learned that Ken Andrews passed away on March 9, 2002.  Ken was
a charter member of NSH and a long time friend of mine and many others.
 His wife informed me that a memorial fund has been set up and donations in
